About Xbattery
Xbattery is a deep-tech company building indigenous, AI-enabled Battery Management Systems (BMS) and intelligent energy-storage solutions for electric vehicles and energy-storage applications across India and global markets.
We are looking for a driven, analytical, and resourceful individual to join our Founder's Office and gain hands-on exposure to Series-A fundraising, strategic finance, market intelligence, and company building in a fast-growing deep-tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Series-A fundraising through investor research, data-room preparation, investor materials, and follow-up tracking.
- Assist with financial modelling, valuation analysis, business planning, unit economics, and market sizing.
- Conduct market, customer, technology, and competitor research across the EV, battery, and energy-storage sectors.
- Prepare investor presentations, leadership reports, business briefs, and decision-ready insights.
- Track strategic initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support execution.
- Support partnership evaluation, growth initiatives, and strategic communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, reporting, and team productivity.
- Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, and workflow automation.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, research, and structured problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of finance, business fundamentals, and commercial thinking.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Genuine interest in startups, venture capital, fundraising, deep-tech, or climate technology.
- Practical familiarity with AI tools and productivity workflows.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate finance.
- Experience with financial models, investor decks, market research, or business analysis.
- Familiarity with EVs, batteries, energy storage, or manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Notion, CRM tools, or workflow automation.
