Procurement Intern
Xbattery Energy Pvt Ltd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support sourcing and procurement activities related to Battery Management Systems (BMS), PCB/PCBA manufacturing, semiconductors, electronic components, battery packs, and related materials. The intern will work closely with the SCM, R&D, and Production teams to ensure timely procurement and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement of electronic components, semiconductors, connectors, sensors, relays, passive components, and other BOM items.
- Support sourcing activities for PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, and EMS vendors.
- Coordinate procurement of battery cells, battery packs, wiring harnesses, mechanical parts, and accessories.
- Prepare and send RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to suppliers and distributors.
- Collect quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and maintain procurement records.
- Follow up with vendors on pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
- Support Purchase Order (PO) processing and material tracking.
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with R&D and Production teams for material requirements and technical clarifications.
- Assist in inventory tracking and procurement MIS reporting.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternate sourcing opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E (Electronics, Electrical, EEE, ECE, Instrumentation) – Final Year Students or Fresh Graduates.
- Strong interest in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Electronics Manufacturing.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of electronic components and semiconductor devices.
- Knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Internship Duration
- 6 Months (Extendable based on performance).
- High-performing candidates may be considered for full-time roles in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or SCM functions at Xbattery Energy Pvt Ltd.
